LEXINGTON, MICHIGAN STORE
ANGEL'S GARDEN, located in the charming Village of Lexington, Michigan opened its doors for business in May, 2001 in an 1840's, two-story brick building that originally housed a harness shop. It now features red oak floors, a beautiful tin ceiling, and the original brick interior walls. Originating their flight from a window above the shop's front entrance, waves of bubbles float up and down the street to the delight of young and old. As they enter the front door, guests are greeted by surround sound music, soft, pleasant fragrances emanating from scented candles, soaps, and lotions, and an array of beautiful gift selections.
Our unique shop offers angels in many forms for home and garden, sculptures, serigraphs, wood artistry, and paintings by many renowned artists, as well as colorful hand blown glass gazing balls, unique greeting cards, and an array of garden accessories. Many Limited Edition collections, such as those shown on this web site, adorn the glass shelving. Looking up, one beholds an exquisite, very colorful collection of elegant, hand blown glass Olde English Witch balls, Calico (friendship) balls, fairy balls, and Van Glo Orbs, artfully suspended from the ceiling. Several collections of Limited Edition fairies by well-known artists will catch your eye and capture your heart. Finely detailed, many of the collections are numbered and in their original packaging.
Out the back door onto a porch, where guests may help themselves to complimentary hot coffee and/or cool lemonade, and down the wooden stairs to the lush, flowering, garden, one is greeted with the gentle, soothing sounds of two water falls, the resonance of musically- tuned wind chimes, and beautiful music. This is a perfect setting for the many unusual and appealing outdoor patio and garden adornments, and a most inviting spot for those who choose to sit and linger for a while. Upon entering the shake-roofed potter's house, you will be pleasantly surprised with what awaits you.
Throughout the seasons, the village of Lexington bustles with visitors arriving by car, motorcycle, and by boat, seeking treasures big and small as they make their way in and out of the shops. PENSACOLA, FLORIDA STORE
ANGEL'S GARDEN, located in the historic City of Pensacola, Florida, was founded in 1994 in a charming, 100-year-old, beautifully restored Victorian house surrounded by a most welcoming yard and garden.
Enjoy a cool glass of lemonade as you meander through the various softly illuminated rooms with their high ceilings, and carpeted floors. Offering a delight for the senses, each area is bedecked with appealing displays of beautiful and unique gifts for all ages, featuring enchanting angels in many forms, unusual books and greeting cards, distinctive glass ornaments for all seasons, ornate ceramics, sculptures of local artists, pleasantly scented candles, lotions, soaps, cookbooks, and many creative Limited Edition collections. The gracious front porch is adorned with outdoor sculptures, ornaments, and flags.
From the front corner of the yard, near fencing covered with fragrant jasmine and honeysuckle vines, waves of opalescent-colored bubbles float skyward creating an enchanting sight for passersby. Your eyes will be dazzled by the resplendent 6-foot-long handmade flags in the garden, tossing about in the gentle Florida breeze. As you look around, you will see unusual birdbaths and feeders, glistening gazing balls, windchimes made of mintage silverware, garden statuary, and plaques. As beautiful as it is peaceful, the garden offers soft melodious tunes from the Grace Note Chimes, and a leisurely setting for moments of relaxation. You are invited to bring yuor lunch and sit awhile.
On one weekend each September, Angel's Garden in Pensacola sponsors an art show on the premises and donates a portion of the proceeds to Favor House, a local non-profit charity that organizes support for women and children against domestic violence. As part of the show, artists are invited to display and sell their works in the spacious yard. In addition the shop sponsors a team for "Relay for Life" which benefits the American Cancer Society, and is held on Mother's Day weekend. |
